About Central Oriental

Founded in 1985 by Peter Burnham and Mark Ferullo, Central Oriental is a manufacturer and importer of machine made and hand made oriental rugs, providing high quality products at fair and reasonable prices. Central Oriental area rugs and runners are mostly developed using Excellan, an advanced heat set polypropylene fiber that has the look and feel of wool. Excellan collections such as Permier, Traditions, Reflections and Royal are easy to clean, durable, with outstanding details. These collections are the benchmark in the industry of high end, machine made synthetic rugs.
