Looks great but it is not in the color as pictured. It is made of stainless steel and is colored as such. It also came with no mounting instructions. Since my application is for a pair of sliding doors, I am able to drill the door with a hole saw. There are no mounting holes in the handle but since the hole was such a tight fit, the handle stays on the door without any adhesives.

This door hardware was ridiculous to my cabinet maker.
He said there is no way a pull handle can be affixed with glue and be secure.
So, we gave it to the contractor. who also said, "no screws?"
The contractor took a loooooong time cutting a semi round circle out of our 2" thick door with his jigsaw. After the initial cut, he used the jigsaw to cut away slowly until the hardware fit in perfectly.
After that he applied a strong adhesive with a caulk gun.
It dried for two days and it does seem to be in sturdy but will it stand the test of time and 4 children?

I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty to install, no instructions included and the need for glue

My contractor made it clear from the beginning that he hated pocket doors because of the standard pulls usually are no good. However, when he saw these pulls, he had no problem. He acually liked them and the pocket door problem suddenly went away.

If you have to have a pocket door and do not need a lock, this is a nice pull. I had a carpenter install mine.
