Doug realized that bamboo holds the promise of a sustainable, cost effective, and ecologically benign alternative to the widespread clear-cutting of our old growth forests. It was in this spirit that Doug spent four years in Vietnam engineering a modern factory capable of producing a wide variety of bamboo products.
