The runners colors are richer than shown in the picture. The carpet is thick and luxurious--exellent quality. Since I was putting it over carpet, I needed a pad to keep it from moving. The pad I found at Home Depot secured it. This is a quality, beautiful carpet at a great price. I ordered a two by eight and a two by twelve to match my halls.
