The Paradiso family of fixtures express a subtle dependence on classical detailing to give the fixtures a traditional appearance. The overall structure of the framework alludes to historical precedent, while the applied decoration accurately captures the representation of ancient classical motifs. Ancient Greek anthemion, based on the leaves of the honey suckle flower, wrap the candle sockets and lower scrolling candle arm armatures of the framework. Conversely, stylized acanthus leaves descend from the above supporting structure. The application of these classical motifs and the mid 18th century-inspired framework result in a visually interesting composition.
